A six-totem LED video installation at the Museum of Tomorrow exploring the Anthropocene, with a custom video player overlaying real-time climate data from Worldometer in precise sync with the film.
A permanent video installation at the Museum of Tomorrow in Rio de Janeiro, presented across six super-tall LED screen totems. The 7-minute, 18-second piece addresses demographic expansion and migratory flows, the diversity of languages and ethnicities, the accelerated growth of cities, the intensification of consumption, and the transformation of natural environments — framed through Language and Technology as the central vectors that, over the last 10,000 years, have impacted the planet more intensely than the previous 200,000.
My Role
I developed the custom video player and the real-time system that pulled live climate-change figures from the Worldometer API and overlaid them onto the film with frame-accurate precision, so the data ticking up on screen was the actual world state at the moment the visitor was watching.
