MultiTempo @ SuperUber
A large scale interactive experience with real-time fluid simulation where visitors control sound through body movement.
"MultiTempo is a large scale interactive experience developed by SuperUber for Sesc's winter festival at Sesc Quitandinha, Petropolis, Brazil."
A sensorial, meditative installation where visitors experience the festival and location's history. The venue is a historical casino building once frequented by Orson Welles and Marilyn Monroe.
Interaction Mechanism
A Kinect captures visitor silhouettes, magnified on all sides of a central structure ("monolith") via four projectors. "The visitor's arms height control the pitch of random instruments, creating a 3D sound environment that everyone is creating."
Pre-recorded silhouettes and sounds blend with real-time sensor data and ambient noise.
Role
Coding and fluid interaction aesthetics.
