Self Portrait
An experimental self portrait using 3D depth sensor data, particle systems, and audio-reactive mesh distortion.
"This is an experiment. A self portrait in a new era. A vision of myself with the tools I have manage to learn on the second decade of the 21 century."
I recorded 3D depth sensor data using an ASUS depth sensor (comparable to Kinect technology) alongside full HD video footage. The project involved moving a virtual camera around the captured data while synchronizing particles to sound. Mesh software was applied to distort pixels, creating unusual visual forms.
